Why upgrade from Dynamics AX 2012 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the United States or Canada?

1. New cloud features and functions to support increased end-user productivity may pose a strong business case for upgrading.  Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is the last version of Dynamics AX on-premise before being rebranded and moved to on-prem or cloud as Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.  D365 F&O has been renamed to Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM)  and recently augmented with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Fabric (financial reporting), and numerous other end-user productivity tools.
2. You waited long enough and need to upgrade as your current version of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 or AX 2012 is end of mainstream support.
