Women in Tech Day Spotlight: Dianna Winslow, Director of Government Solutions

During the week of International Women in Tech Day, organizations around the world come together to celebrate Women in Tech Week, a global initiative that unites companies, communities, and individuals to recognize and amplify the impact women continue to make across the technology industry. At Endeavor4, this week is an opportunity to highlight leaders who are shaping meaningful change through technology, collaboration, and purpose‑driven leadership.

One such leader is Dianna Winslow, Director of Government Solutions at Endeavor4 and head of Municipal ERP department. Dianna’s career reflects a deep commitment to people, public service, and using technology to make complex work simpler for those who serve their communities.

For Dianna, pursuing a career in IT never felt like a non‑traditional path. Each experience along the way simply built toward the next, reinforcing her belief that combining subject matter expertise with an openness to continuous learning makes technology careers both accessible and rewarding. Her journey began early, earning a leadership role at just 16,in her first job as a “production leader” and continued through banking, where she valued the many opportunities available within large organizations. What remained constant was her people‑centric approach and desire to lead.

Her transition into local government became a defining chapter. Years spent working with municipalities gave Dianna firsthand insight into how public sector organizations operate and support their communities. A municipal implementation project sparked her interest in technology and ultimately led her to take a leap of faith, leaving a stable municipal role to pursue a career in technology. That decision launched a dynamic path shaped by mergers, acquisitions, promotions, setbacks, and fresh starts, each experience strengthening her leadership perspective. Fast forward to today her experience in both technology and local government brings a valuable perspective to the business.

One lesson continues to guide her leadership today: bad news does not get better with time. Addressing challenges early, being transparent, and pivoting when needed are central to how she supports her teams and clients. Dianna describes her leadership style as collaborative, grounded in trust, transparency, and resiliency. Her approach has been shaped by both exceptional mentors and difficult lessons, reinforced by simple but powerful guidance such as knowing your value, staying out of the weeds, and being brave enough to try a new approach.

In her first six months at Endeavor4, Dianna has led a growing government solutions vertical based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SylogistGov Municipal Extensions, built a strong delivery team, introduced AI into the practice, and strengthened best practices across the organization. The team’s recognition as Sylogist Gov Partner of the Year reflects that collective effort and momentum.

Women in Tech Week is a time for recognition, reflection, and action. For those early in their IT careers, Dianna offers practical advice.

“First question to ask yourself is, do you prefer being an individual contributor or a people leader? Both paths have important impact to the business. In Leadership, you help shape and embody the vision and that will drive the strategy and business goals of the organization. If this is appealing to you then take steps to grow into this path. Keep track of your accomplishments, enlist a mentor, know your value, and don’t be afraid to strive for what you want. Why not you?
